Due to the existence of environmental challenges of today, the project was focused on motivating young people to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle and become more eco-conscious. This involved familiarizing them with various sustainable practices and raising awareness about environmental issues, recognizing the ecological challenges we face. Through the youth exchange, the organisers aimed to highlight the significance of sustainable actions. Additionally, the participants were provided with essential skills and strategies to live environment-friendly as well as inspire others in their communities to take action in saving the planet. The primary goal was to foster a strong sense of responsibility within the participants, motivating them to take meaningful action and lead positive change in their local communities. We also aimed to deepen their understanding of environmental issues, such as climate change, pollution, deforestation, and other present ecological hurdles. In addition to environmental awareness, we promoted the development of essential skills and competencies, including social interaction, entrepreneurship, and intercultural communication. The project also provided a platform for participants to share and learn from each other's best practices and eco-friendly solutions, fostering collaboration and collective problem-solving. We encouraged them to adopt and maintain sustainable habits and lifestyles, both throughout the duration of the project and beyond, ensuring the impact of their learning extends into their everyday lives. Moreover, the project includes activities which carried out all 8 key competences of Erasmus+ such as multilingual competence, digital competence, entrepreneurial competence, literacy competence, social and personal competencies, as well as the competence of developing learning skills, competence in exact, competence of awareness of the culture of other peoples and cultural self-expression, competence of civic engagement.
