Exclusion and marginalization are not just words. It's a stark reality that persists amidst the wealth of knowledge, technology, and medical advancements in our contemporary era and happens every day around us. These issues manifest daily in schools, youth centers, local communities, and even entire nations, targeting individuals or groups based on labels. People of lower income, individuals with disabilities, those grappling with substance abuse, youngsters with delinquent behavior, former offenders, immigrants, adherents of diverse religions, speakers of different languages, Roma population, members of the LGBTQ+ community etc, frequently experience social marginalization and, in some instances, endure verbal and physical abuse. This phenomenon extends even into the digital realm, with "cyberbullying" becoming an unfortunate term in its own right. Our project addresses one of the most pressing global challenges of our time. After conducting a comprehensive analysis of our local context, we have identified several critical issues: -Concrete incidents of social exclusion within educational settings, including school environments and youth section. -Insufficient tolerance for diversity and disability. -Social exclusion of individuals leading to personal isolation. -Marginalization of specific groups within local communities. -Prevalence of cyberbullying and digital marginalization among young people. Our project is rooted in addressing these pressing concerns. We aim to: -Foster an inclusive environment within the realm of youth activities and educational institutions. -Empower youth workers and educators with innovative tools to address and combat social exclusion. -Facilitate genuine dialogues and communication among young people. -Promote the values of diversity, tolerance, empathy, and inclusion. Our project's objectives are as follows: -Enhance participants' personal development through experiential learning, heightening their awareness of the project's central theme. -Provide multifaceted insights into social exclusion and marginalization, considering diverse perspectives such as diversity, disability, cultural background, nationality, social status, living environment, family background, and sexual orientation. -Equip participants with practical methods, techniques, and tools to effect change within their local communities, fostering social inclusion and inclusive societies. -Develop and implement group workshops, methodologies, and techniques for achieving social inclusion within the realms of education and youth work, culminating in the creation of a non-formal toolkit for social inclusion, accessible to fellow youth workers in the future. -Strengthen existing partnerships, foster new collaborations, and fortify relationships among participating organizations. -Motivate participants to leverage the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Youth Programme as a means to build and nurture human connections, enhance interpersonal communication, foster cultural understanding, and cultivate a sense of European citizenship.
