Our Training Course aimed at bringing European youth workers together and training them how infographic tools could be used as a tool for promoting non-violent messages and intercultural dialogue among the youth The main need we wanted to address through this training was the need of seeking new ways for promoting understanding and tolerance between young people in the nowadays culturally diverse Europe . As we live in the diversified world we witness scenes of intolerance and radical behaviors due to cultural differences in our society and as the Europe is becoming more multicultural we need to deepen our awareness and understanding as young generation. As youth workers we feel responsible throughout our work to make our activities more efficient and available to every audience concerned. Different non-formal education methods and new visual tools are used to ensure that our message reaches the young people and that we promote and facilitate intercultural dialogue. Another need was using of innovative digital means of communication to work with youth, to have available easy tools in our daily life to make our work more engaging and reachable. Those needs were especially visible among organizations based outside EU who often lack opportunities to take part in educational activities providing them with innovative digital methods that could be used while working with youth with diverse cultural background. The problem of growing migration and intercultural tensions was relatively new in the region, however due to the rising influx of Syrian refugees to Armenia and Georgia and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine there was a visible need to address the issue of intercultural dialogue and conflict prevention in those countries and this is why we decided to organize the project in Armenia. The objectives were -To provide participants with the knowledge of infographics as a new digital tool to approach the topic of intercultural dialogue -To equip them with the skills necessary to design and implement quality projects for intercultural dialogue in their own respective communities -To explore how infographics and other related tools can be further on shared with young people who can use them in their daily activities -To promote the culture of peace and intercultural learning among youth leaders working with communities of diverse cultural backgrounds. -To establish a network of like-minded organisations and individuals, who are interested in the further exchange on the topic of using creative visual tools and methods for working with the youth -To develop a concrete plan for follow up projects focused on promoting intercultural dialogue The objectives were clearly linked with the objectives of the Erasmus + Programme in the field of youth. The TC helped to improve key skills of youth workers, especially those connected to ICT which raised the quality of the projects they develop. By giving participants tools for enhancing dialogue, the project is strongly promoting intercultural dialogue and antidiscrimination, preventing the grow of radical and violent behaviors.
