Objectives

The primary objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of youth inclusion in employment across the European Union, aligned with Goal #7. The project aims to create a more equitable and inclusive labor market for young people, fostering fair working conditions, equal opportunities, and comprehensive support mechanisms. Promote Quality Job Creation: Advocate for employment opportunities that go beyond mere job availability. Prioritize the creation of roles that guarantee fair working conditions, respect fundamental labor rights, and provide a living wage for young workers. This includes actively engaging with employers, policymakers, and relevant stakeholders to embed these principles in employment practices. Enhance Social Protection and Healthcare: Work towards fortifying the safety nets for young workers by championing comprehensive social protection and healthcare policies. This involves collaborating with governmental bodies, health institutions, and social welfare organizations to ensure that young professionals are not only gainfully employed but also receive adequate protection for their well-being. Combat Discrimination: Launch initiatives aimed at eradicating discriminatory practices within the labor market. This encompasses efforts to raise awareness, develop anti-discrimination policies, and collaborate with employers and advocacy groups to foster an inclusive work environment that values diversity and ensures equal opportunities for all. Facilitate Skill Development: Implement programs and projects that facilitate skill development among young individuals. This involves collaborating with educational institutions, vocational training centers, and industry partners to create opportunities for skill acquisition and practical experiences. The objective is to bridge the gap between education and the labor market. Recognize Work-Based Learning: Advocate for the recognition of competencies acquired through various channels such as internships, apprenticeships, and non-formal education. This involves engaging with accreditation bodies, educational institutions, and employers to ensure that these valuable learning experiences are acknowledged and contribute to a young person's employability. Empower Youth Participation: Actively involve young people and youth organizations in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of employment policies. This means creating platforms for meaningful participation, fostering a sense of ownership, and ensuring that the unique perspectives of the youth are considered in shaping policies that impact their employment opportunities. Provide Access to Information and Support: Establish mechanisms to provide equitable access to information and support for young individuals navigating the labor market. This could involve creating online platforms, organizing informational workshops, and collaborating with career counseling services to empower young people with the knowledge and resources needed to make informed decisions about their careers. Each of these objectives, when pursued with dedication and strategic collaboration, contributes to the overarching goal of enhancing youth participation in the European labor force, ensuring that employment opportunities are not only abundant but also conducive to the well-being, growth, and equitable treatment of the young workforce. By meticulously accomplishing these objectives, the project aspires to be a catalyst for positive change, fostering an inclusive, supportive, and equitable employment landscape that empowers and uplifts the youth in the European Union.
