Around 24% of the European population over the age of fifteen has participated or is participating in volunteering projects either in their hometowns or in any of the countries of the Community. This means that almost ninety-five million European citizens are involved in these types of actions in one way or another. The vast majority of these actions are carried out by the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), which increases its participation figures every day, breaking records year after year. But is it well structured? Is there a central tool that allows young people to solve their problems? doubts instantly? Do young people have access to all the necessary information in an easy and simple way? All of these questions have been asked by the young people who will participate in this exchange, and it is from the lack of answers that the idea of developing an exchange in which a solution is given to all of them arises and in this way they can resolve all their problems. doubts, since they saw that they were not uncertainties that only they had. The first conclusion they reached after raising this idea is that some of the questions are answered with a “yes” and others involve the development of structures and tools that facilitate the information collection processes, the development of tools and the support to young people eager to share, learn and give their best in their community or in a European country. Thus, what we propose with this project is: - Training and personal development: We want to empower young volunteers, providing them with skills, knowledge and tools so that they can play an active and effective role in European volunteering projects. This includes training in problem solving, intercultural skills and social competencies. - Promoting active citizenship and increasing the number of volunteers: We want to inspire young people to become active and committed citizens in their communities and at the European level. Through volunteering, we seek to help them acquire a sense of civic responsibility and solidarity with the needs of society. - Cultural exchange and mutual learning: We want young volunteers to have the opportunity to interact with people from different countries and cultures. This will allow them to learn about European diversity, overcome stereotypes and promote intercultural understanding. - Active participation in the centralized platform: We want young people to become active users of the centralized platform that we are creating. This platform will allow them to share their experiences, resolve doubts and access valuable resources to improve their participation in volunteer projects. - Promoting volunteering among their peers: We want young people to become ambassadors of European volunteering in their local communities and among their peers. We will encourage you to share your stories and motivate other young people to join this enriching experience. Main objectives: 1. Empower Young Volunteers and train them in the CES: Our main objective is to empower young project participants, providing them with skills, knowledge and confidence to take an active role in European volunteer projects and in their local communities. 2. Improve Volunteer Management: We seek to improve the management of volunteer projects, both sending and hosting, by identifying and addressing common challenges and providing solid and useful tools for problem solving. 3. Facilitate Collaboration and Exchange in the field of CES: We want to create a space for effective collaboration between partner organizations and young volunteers, through a centralized platform, which promotes the exchange of information, experiences and resources. Specific objectives: 1. Train Young Volunteers: Provide specific training and workshops for young volunteers in areas such as problem solving, intercultural competencies and leadership, with the aim of strengthening their personal and teamwork capabilities. 2. Develop Tools and Resources: Create practical tools and guides that address common challenges in volunteer management, such as project planning, impact assessment, and conflict management. 3. Launch and Evaluate Centralized Platform: Establish an online platform where young volunteers can access resources, share experiences and collaborate on problem solving. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the platform and make improvements based on user feedback.
