Objectives

The IDEM project aimed to offer young people from Spain, Italy, and Portugal, mainly those with fewer opportunities and a low level of English, the chance to live an intercultural, educational, and transformative experience within the Erasmus+ framework, without using English as the working language. The main objectives were: To promote the inclusion of vulnerable youth in international projects. To value and promote the linguistic diversity of Romance languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Catalan, and Galician). To develop intercultural, social, and artistic competences through non-formal education methodologies. To foster environmental awareness and connection with nature through a sustainable living experience in an eco-village. To facilitate individual and collective emotional and creative expression through art. The project also aimed to spark participants' interest in new European opportunities, strengthen their self-esteem and sense of community, and highlight the value of non-formal learning as a driver of social change.
