Objectives

The resurgence of women in all sectors of public life has been gaining special prominence in recent years. Gender equality forms a cross-cutting part of all social movements. To speak of women's rights is to speak of our potential as a society. The commitment of feminism encompasses a struggle that benefits every home, every community, every culture. Achieving individual freedom as a social paradigm is only viable if we start with equal rights and opportunities. While it is true that the struggle for equality goes back decades, and even centuries, the strength of the feminist movement today is an essential part of democratic and social progress. It has become part not only of political proclamations, but also of electoral programs. The citizenship contemplates how the change of social model is part of the future of all and of the future of Europe. In each generation a new world is sown, the messages that reach the youth, information, awareness or sensitization serve to harvest an evolution in coexistence, freedoms and democracy. The Internet has opened up a communication network where discourses of all kinds vie for the attention of young people. Social networks are an essential part of young people's contact with the world. Speeches born of intolerance are within the reach of young people, threatening social equilibrium and seeking to damage democratic values of equality. While it is not possible to protect young people from hate speech, it is possible to encourage them to think, to analyze sources of information and to define themselves and the Europe of which they are the future. This project seeks to promote gender equality as a starting point in the individual and group development of young people. Spreading through the recognition of multiculturalism and diversity, the claim of universal equality between men and women. - Creating an approach to the bases of feminism, its history and its present. Making known the different waves of feminist demands and promoting an understanding of the movement, as well as the needs to which it responds. - Promoting awareness and sensitization regarding gender discrimination. - To promote the intrinsic development of empathy, tolerance and understanding in accordance with democratic values. - To vindicate the equality of trans women and their role in the struggle for human rights, promoting the recognition of sexual and gender diversity. - Disprove hoaxes and combat malicious speeches that threaten the integrity of coexistence. - Promote the empowerment of women, their integral development and psychological well-being derived from self-confidence and self-determination. - Encourage young people to consolidate themselves as agents of social change, claiming their protagonism in the future of their communities and Europe. - Encourage training in digital skills, considering their potential in social progress and the mobilization of young people. - Promote the value of artistic expression, emphasizing its communicative value and as a tool for introspection and self-knowledge for psychological well-being.
