Objectives

In 2020, the rate of young people aged 15-29 years at risk of poverty or social exclusion in the EU was 25.4 %, or 18.1 million young people, with women at slightly higher risk than men. The effects of social exclusion on young people's life situation, social and economic engagement, emotional well-being, and health status are commonly acknowledged to be severe and long-lasting. It also aids in the transfer of poverty from one generation to the next. In turn, unstable living standards, social and political exclusion, emotions of alienation, and unhealthy lifestyles exacerbate existing social exclusion-related problems. This creates a vicious cycle in which socially excluded youth are more at risk of experiencing increased material poverty, social and emotional marginalization, and health problems, all of which put them at greater risk of further exclusion. In the European Union, about one in three young people between the ages of 18 and 24 is at danger of poverty or social exclusion. Opportunities for stopping and breaking this vicious cycle can be found in youth work. Youth workers are able to lessen the risks of further social exclusion linked to deteriorating living conditions and unhealthy lifestyles by providing young people with targeted support, opportunities for non-formal learning, information on health and wellbeing, and opportunities for positive integration into the local community. In order to effectively reach more young people and supplement existing official responses, the youth sector has to be reinforced and empowered. Finding strategies to connect with young people for whom formal education is neither sufficient nor motivating is urgently needed. Youth workers must learn inclusive intervention methods if they are to carry out practical and significant work. The project's goal is to provide Youth Workers with the chance to advance their professional, social, and personal skills in order to execute inclusive activities that are appropriate for and tailored to the preferences and requirements of young people. The necessity for youth workers who work with the project's partner organizations to identify, understand, and spread a tool that enables first-hand social inclusion experience led to the development of this project. In order to fully promote social inclusion, youth workers must be aware of the realities, needs, and backgrounds of their target groups. This awareness leads to the need for training on how to effectively include people with disabilities, people from diverse cultural backgrounds, and people who are subject to discrimination because of their gender or current status in society. The aim of this project is : - Promote young people's social inclusion through the development of non-formal education methods in collaboration with youth workers and partner organizations. OBJECTIVES - Develop the knowledge of 30 participants from 7 countries : Spain, Turkey ,North Macedonia ,Romania, Italy, Poland, France for understanding of the concept of social inclusion, particularly as it relates to youth with fewer opportunities. -Develop the knowledge of the 30 participants of the project about the principles, methods, and benefits of non-formal education in the context of youth inclusion. - Participants will enhance the skills to design non-formal education programs tailored to the specific needs and interests of youth with fewer opportunities. - Participants will enhance their facilitation skills, including communication, active listening, conflict resolution, and group management, to create inclusive learning environments. -: Participants will cultivate a deep sense of empathy and inclusivity towards youth with fewer opportunities, fostering a more open and accepting mindset. - Create 7 non formal methods to include youth with fewer opportunities and promote them internationally, aimed to inspire people, organizations and associations to act together. -Create inclusive practices in the project, through the NFE and with the reinforcement of music, as a way of professional transformation of the youth workers. -Promote the recognition and development of non-formal education at local, regional, national, international and European level; -Promote development, quality and innovation through a cross-sector, in order to recognize the work of youth workers with young people.
