"Creative entrepreneurship in rural areas" is a training course that will take place in the province of Albacete (Spain), more specifically in Bogarra, a small and beautiful town in the Sierra del Segura with about 1,000 inhabitants. There will be 28 youth workers from 8 countries (Beneficiaries of the ERASMUS+ Program). After the large urbanization process that has taken place in Spain, especially since the 1970s, there was a reduction in the population in rural areas. Our grandparents and parents had to go to the big cities to work in construction or in the service sector, leaving a considerable void in the towns where they were born. Due to this migratory movement, there has been a decrease in the population in the rural world and in the existing resources for the people who continue to live there, who find it very difficult to cover basic needs, for example, work, education, transportation or health. . When compared to what it means to live in a city, the disadvantages are very evident in general when it comes to finding a job or starting a business, but artists or creative entrepreneurs have it even more difficult because, even if they are trying to put in value their resources depending on their capabilities, they do not have enough knowledge on how to do it. We can easily see how the authorities of these areas that deal with these people and suffer this need very closely every day. Our TC is designed to develop this knowledge, tools and skills for leaders and workers of this specific group: rural or peripheral entrepreneurs who fight against social exclusion, poverty, unemployment and who want to generate in them a new spirit of overcoming challenges and initiative. within the field of cultural and creative industries. We want you to understand the importance of reflecting especially on concrete actions, starting, for example, on the re-evaluation and development of new ideas, so that they are used in a functional and sustainable way in your local area during your daily work with creative entrepreneurs. Starting a small business or entrepreneurship in small towns can be a fantastic vehicle to capitalize on the assets you already have. It has become manifestly clear that many groups of professionals can telework from rural areas with a decent Internet connection, in the case of the cultural and creative industries it is no different, since graphic designers, web designers, graphic artists, film editors, video game creators, for example, can also do it. In addition to the potential for creation that an artist in a quiet area away from the madding crowd of the city with another type of creator such as sculptors, plastic artists, performers, etc. That is why Bogarra seems to us to be an ideal location for it, not only because it is a wonderful town with a rich natural heritage, but also because of the artistic initiative that they have been carrying out for a few years in it. According to information on the website of the Sierra del Segura region, of which Bogarra is a part, "once a year the Bogarra Landscape Sculpture Days are organized in the town, in which sculptors from different places leave their work on the rock of the mountain itself, along the path that runs from Bogarra and on the banks of its river, upstream, as a result of the creations of these artists, this interesting route of sculptures has been created, through one of the places prettiest in town". We cannot think of a better example of a cultural venture that emerged from the initiative of a neighbor who has come to put the town of Bogarra on the map, offering this route (among other things) as a tourist attraction at FITUR. GENERAL OBJECTIVES: These are the objectives, issues and needs that we would like to address briefly described: After a SWOT analysis, our work team has found the following common deficiencies: 1. Absence of a common agenda and lack of quality work methods for workers regarding issues of deficiencies that entrepreneurs suffer by not leaving these rural areas. 2. Lack of recognition and wide visibility of the best methods and strategies normally used in these matters. 3. Deficiency of a daily cooperation and between equals of exchange of work tools between the organizations, especially those that are working with this target group 4. Lack of an entrepreneurial approach to exploit resources in rural areas.
