The purpose of this project was to address the significant deterioration of mental health detected in both young people and adults, an issue supported by multiple research studies. This decline, characterized by a lack of resilience and emotional well-being, limits individuals' ability to reach their full potential and contribute positively to their communities. This issue served as the driving force behind the project, raising the central question: How can we equip youth workers to effectively support mental health and the development of authenticity in young people? The main objective was to provide 24 youth workers with practical tools and skills designed to facilitate supporting young people in their process of self-discovery and mental health care. To achieve this goal, a training program was developed that integrated innovative methods such as coaching, practices based on connection with nature, embodiment, body expression, non-violent communication, and reflective techniques. These methodologies were not only implemented during the mobility period but were also designed to be adapted and applied later in the professional and personal contexts of the participants. A central pillar of the project was the promotion of self-reflection as a key tool for the personal and professional development of youth workers. Through this approach, participants were able to deepen their understanding of their thoughts, emotions, values, and needs, thus strengthening their overall well-being. At the same time, the project placed particular emphasis on reducing feelings of incapacity among young people, promoting inclusion and acceptance of diversity in group settings. Additionally, work was done to create safe, prejudice-free spaces where young people could feel valued and comfortable. Another fundamental objective was to strengthen the self-confidence and resilience of youth workers, preparing them to act as positive role models for young people. This empowerment allowed them to project a resilient and confident attitude, inspiring young people to develop their own confidence and authenticity. The results of the project highlighted the impact of this comprehensive and innovative approach. Youth workers not only acquired practical tools but also significantly increased their personal and professional confidence. This allowed them to apply the learnings effectively in their work with young people, generating a positive impact on both their own well-being and that of the young people they support.
