The COMUMI+ project was designed to strengthen the communication skills of youth workers who interact with young immigrants in vulnerable situations. Its main objective was to facilitate the social and educational inclusion of these young people, who face linguistic, cultural and socioeconomic barriers that limit their community participation. Through non-formal education methodologies, workers were trained to transmit clear information, build trust, and foster inclusive environments. Additionally, the project addressed the need to improve the digital skills of these professionals, helping them connect with young people through technological tools and reduce the digital divide, promoting equitable access to resources and opportunities. COMUMI+ also emphasized the creation of an equitable and diverse environment, training youth workers to mitigate socioeconomic barriers and facilitate the integration of young immigrants in training, social and cultural activities. Through empathy and intercultural understanding, the project sought to transform attitudes towards diversity, promoting a more inclusive and cohesive society. Altogether, COMUMI+ not only enhanced the skills of professionals, but also generated a positive social impact, laying the foundation so that every young person, regardless of their background, can thrive and contribute to collective well-being.
