Valencia NSC 2024 will count over 170 young participants from around Europe who will be involved in diplomatic discussions in order to tackle different European issues. Creating a platform where young individuals can freely express their opinions, discuss relevant issues, and have their voices heard in a meaningful way, this project aims to combat political and social apathy among young people by motivating them to take a more active role in shaping their communities and societies. In addition, we aim to address the gap in formal education systems by providing experiential learning opportunities that go beyond traditional classroom instruction. This session is designed to equip young participants with the skills and knowledge necessary for active engagement in democratic processes. We aim to make delegates familiarise themselves with the EU and its functioning. With the involvement of decision-makers and the shared resolution with the European Parliament, we want the young generations to engage with the EU's legislative body.
