By carrying out this project, the Social Alliance wanted to offer young people from Martinique the opportunity to experience Europe. Martinique is a territory that is, firstly, far from its mainland, France, and secondly, a territory that does not benefit much from Erasmus programs. The Social Alliance gives young people with fewer opportunities (JAMO) the opportunity to express themselves through various tools. The project aimed to produce videos describing the lives of young Greek women and to discover life in Greece in general. Using video as a medium required the young people to master filming and sound recording techniques in order to obtain the best possible quality. Beyond using video as a medium for their exchange, the young people's goal was to reconnect with basic skills such as reading, writing, and communication, and also to foster teamwork. The project also aimed to remove barriers to young people's employability by enabling them to regain a taste for a career path by entering or returning to training, school, or employment. Finally, the final objective of the project was to deconstruct sexist prejudices and stereotypes.
