Objectives

The aim of the project was to reduce the rate of unemployment among young people in rural areas by proving young people and youth workers with tools and techniques to increase their chances to get employed or make their own projects. The objectives of the training course were the following: - To find out the possible solutions to the unemployment problem at personal, organisational, and community levels by monitoring the real situations in different countries; - To improve the abilities of youth workers, activists, and young people from rural areas to increase their chances to get employed or make their own projects; - To give the tools and techniques on how to reach low unemployment rates in rural areas; - To challenge young people to face unemployment reasons and related problems for understanding the lack of knowledge or experience and start to develop them; - To empower young people with the means of non-formal education; - To understand the real needs of the rural job market and to discover the way to meet those needs; - To create new projects designed to lower the unemployment rates and keep youth developing their rural homeland. During the project we have addressed the following needs: working with rural youth, the importance of non-formal education for young people and even we have used such non formal methods that the participants themselves can use it in their communities while working with young people, development of the rural job market in rural areas, unemployment in rural areas, undeveloped infrastructure, and the rural job market in rural areas. On the other hand, participants had the opportunity to delve into the specifics of successful social enterprises in partner countries, gaining in-depth knowledge and skills on establishing social enterprises from start to finish. This will enable them to apply these insights in their own communities. Our TC agenda was designed to provide substantial benefits to youth workers and their organizations both during and after the project's lifetime
