The project aimed to strengthen youth participation in a structured cross-border process initiated in 2021, based on three dialogue phases. The main objective was to create spaces for exchange and engagement for young people on both sides of the border, in order to foster mutual understanding and shared ownership of issues related to public youth policies in the trans-Pyrenean area. Through these mobilities, we sought to: Continue the exchange of practices among youth stakeholders on key themes such as mountain economies, mobility, inequalities, career guidance, and the fight against harassment. Empower young people by giving them real agency, particularly through their involvement in designing the activities. Enable direct encounters between young people and policymakers, in a framework that values youth voices and their ability to contribute to democratic life. Strengthen strategic alliances between youth organizations, such as those within the Working Community of the Pyrenees (CTP) and the Euroregion, and support the integration of young people into representative bodies (Regional Youth Councils, Spanish provincial councils, etc.). Promote the participation of a diverse range of young people, including those involved in the voluntary sector. An implicit objective was also to explore the different forms of youth political participation. Some delegations included highly politicized profiles, sometimes disconnected from local realities. This highlighted the need to develop more inclusive forms of engagement, rooted in local contexts. Finally, by bringing together Spanish and French youth around shared values, the project fully met the objectives of the Erasmus programme by promoting civic engagement, intercultural dialogue, multilingualism, and a shared European identity.
