Developing European citizenship among young people by introducing them to European institutions, enabling them to debate and exchange views on European issues, and focusing on the European elections in the first year of the project, thereby increasing the number of young people voting in the European elections held in 2024. We also wanted to develop links with elected representatives from the department or the city of Saint-Brieuc in order to make young people aware of their leverage on local political issues. Another objective was to create links between young people from the Côtes-d'Armor region and young foreigners in the same region (volunteers, language assistants, international civic service workers, etc.) through regular, fun and educational activities. We also wanted to develop autonomy and initiative among young people: to give them a budget and allow them to take care of logistics, communication and event planning without the organising body having to do everything. The final objective was to reach rural audiences, who are more distant from mobility issues. The target areas were Loudéac Communauté, Guingamp Paimpol Agglomération, Dinan Agglomération and Lamballe terre et mer, rural areas where we already had partners to facilitate the actions carried out.
