Through this project, we aimed to help young people better understand the connections between physical health, mental well-being, self-confidence, and the quality of their relationships with others, both on a personal and professional level. We sought to provide them with practical tools to adopt sustainable health habits, develop more balanced lifestyles, and strengthen their ability to take care of themselves. We also aimed to develop essential transversal skills, including autonomy, initiative, teamwork, communication, leadership, and intercultural openness. Particular attention was given to inclusion, ensuring that activities were accessible to young people with diverse profiles and abilities. Finally, we aimed to build a sustainable partnership between the French, Turkish, and Czech partners, based on the exchange of best practices, complementarity of skills, and a shared vision of well-being, inclusion, and active citizenship.
Our three partner organisations initiated this project based on a shared analysis of needs: many young people today face challenges related to stress, limited physical activity, low self-confidence, and sometimes social isolation. These issues are particularly acute among youth with fewer opportunities or from disadvantaged backgrounds. Additionally, we noticed a clear lack of educational initiatives that address mental health, well-being, and inclusion in a holistic manner. The project addressed these needs through a comprehensive approach to well-being, combining outdoor activities, body awareness exercises, physical activity, intercultural exchanges, and reflection on lifestyle habits. It also aimed to strengthen cooperation among our three organisations, enabling us to share best practices, develop innovative methods, and promote the core priorities of Erasmus+: inclusion, active citizenship, and youth engagement.
