First of all,our educational concern was to open up the social and solidarity horizon to our members and more particularly to young people aged 11 to 15 Who were likely to understand the European dimension. The particularity of the public with whom we envisaged the project (childrens from roma communities living in very precarious conditions)and the functioning of the C.I.M association ( engaged in emergency approaches :food, health and material aid, accès to schooling ,prévention and sécurité...) allowed us to develop a New action programme (education through sport) for wich our partner express a demand. Our educators working in a specifical field and in their comfort zone were enthusiastic about the idea of getting involved with a different public and alongside educational partners with whom they couleur exchange new practices and expériences. Finaly through exchanges (written, face to face,vidéo, andin-person) between our young people, we aimed to raise awareness among familier and institutions of the need for openess to Europe through the universality of sport. The overall results shows that this objectives have been largery acheved.
We decided to apply for this project in consultation with ours Serbian partner. For sévères years we had been collaborating on an education project through sport, particularly football, and the opportunity to join the Erasmus plus program allowed us to promote, strtructure and develop our initiatives, particularly the mutual understanding between the young members and éducateurs of the USEPMM club, young People from Roma communities in Belgrade, and the social educators of the CIM association. Since 2019 , we have been able to get to know each other and exchange idées via video call between our young People, implement awareness-raising activities in France and fundraising and equipment programme formation clubs membres. In addition, two éducateurs were able to travel to Serbia and,together with local educators, define the needs and objectives set for the " SHORT GAME-LONG GAME" project. Implement initiatives that allow young people from our two organisations to meet and getter to know each other. Introduce Serbian educators to the social and sports environment in France. Give our educators the opportunity to expérience a social environment.
