The "Digital/Activate" project was implemented under the Erasmus+ program, where we sought answers to digital challenges and environmental protection among young people. The fundamental goal of the project was to raise young people's awareness of the environmental impacts of the digital world and encourage them to choose environmentally friendly alternatives when using their digital devices. The project included numerous activities aimed at increasing environmental awareness, promoting conscious digital usage, strengthening community connections, and improving personal and collective well-being. These activities encompassed interactive workshops, critical thinking development lectures, community and cultural exchange experiences, and environmental protection practices. In the theme of environmental awareness and activism, participants took part in interactive workshops where the environmental impacts of digital technologies were presented, such as energy production and consumption, waste management, and recycling. The purpose of these activities was to help young people understand and consciously manage the environmental challenges they face daily. Within the framework of conscious digital usage, young people acquired basic digital competencies, such as information-critical skills, enabling them to distinguish between real and fake online information. Additionally, participants analyzed their own digital habits, which helped them become more conscious of their presence in the online world. Activities aimed at building community connections involved young people participating in various team-building games and shared programs that strengthened personal relationships and promoted community experiences. The international environment provided opportunities for learning between cultures and developing intercultural competencies, contributing to the broadening of the young people's cultural perspectives. In the theme of personal and collective well-being, nature activities and environmentally friendly programs connected the participants with nature, facilitating the practice of presence and reducing everyday stress. Moreover, the project included workshops aimed at preserving mental health, where young people could learn relaxation and mindfulness practices. Overall, the project not only had a lasting impact on the participating young people but also extended to their immediate and indirect environments. Throughout the program, young people recognized the importance of balancing online and offline life and received practical guidance on how to achieve this balance. The project participants also deepened their cultural knowledge and developed their communication skills, which enabled them to cope with the challenges of the digital age and maintain their mental health.
