The main project’ objectives were: - To promote intercultural and interreligious dialogue, enhancing comprehension of religion's role in society; - To raise awareness about social integration, values of solidarity, tolerance and respect; - To promote participation in democratic life, active citizenship and international mobility for learning purposes. Secondary project objectives (not closely connected with the topic) were: Enhance participants soft skills for personal and professional grow, from digital competences (through the use of software and computers during the exchange) to group work passing through time management, creativity and cooperation. Through the daily activities, the youth exchange enhanced participants' analytical abilities, critical thinking, and cultural awareness by exploring new cultures, customs and lifestyles. This was achieved by learning about various religions, understanding and appreciating diversity in all its forms and using dialogue as a proactive tool. It emphasized the importance of non-formal learning methods, boosting self-empowerment and self-esteem. Another key goal was to forge new connections and friendships, drawing participants closer to foster a strong sense of European community and identity. The project also aimed to tackle common issues related to religion and intercultural dialogue, such as misunderstandings, prejudice, intolerance, fanaticism and indifference. These challenges, unfortunately, are increasing in many parts of our continent, causing social instability and decline in neighboring countries.
