Objectives

Our goal is that, through our program, the young people of three cities will come together and start a traveling exhibition, the aim of which is to strengthen democratic local public life. Images would be exhibited that show active participation and democratic participation from the perspective of young people. Our goal is to draw attention to the fact that young people also have the right to participate in decision-making and are able to "hear their voice" in an artistic way. The title of the project, "Exhibit democracy", implies that we want to present and demonstrate what democracy is, and we want to involve young people in this, as well as announce a tender. Our project is carried out at an international level in three countries, and our goal is to bring about change not only in the 13-30 age group, but also in the broader layers of local communities. The basis of the project is that at a joint meeting in Krosno, where the event took place in a gallery, we wanted to express their opinion in an artistic way. The main goal of our project is to bring together young people from three different countries and give them the opportunity to express their opinions and thoughts about democratic participation and active citizenship through artistic means. Our project not only strengthens international cooperation between young people, but also contributes to the goals of European youth policy. The Erasmus+ youth program offers an opportunity to reach young people and promote intercultural dialogue and European cohesion. Our project is closely related to the objectives of the Erasmus+ program and youth participation activities, and I will detail below how it fits into these objectives: Youth mobility and gaining experience: Our project enables young people to gain international experience, get to know other cultures through art projects and participate in joint work. Through the traveling exhibition spanning three countries and the building of relationships between young people, we contribute to the promotion of youth mobility and gaining experience. Involvement of young people in decision-making: The central element of our project is the promotion of democratic participation and active citizenship through artistic means. Young people are encouraged to express their views on democratic participation and representation of community interests. In this way, we contribute to the promotion of youth participation activities and the strengthening of the role of young people in society.
