The Rebel Ball Youth Exchange aims to upskill diverse groups of Polish and Irish young people people, aged 16-24, in professional standard Inter-cultural content creation, by encouraging the participants to reflect on European topics and values and find creative ways to express these using performance arts and digital media. The intercultural group of young people will explore their shared history, as societies that have broken free of oppression to create new societies of social justice, fairness and equality, as a springboard for creative actions. They will link the co-created performances to the Erasmus+ principles and the expression of youth voice using The Lundy Model of Participation including information-sharing and dialogue. The St Patrick's Foundation and the Irish Ball has a great reputation in Warsaw. It's a fun, creative night with a sit down dinner, an auction. The aims of the Rebel Ball Youth Exchange is to enhance the event, and enhance employability skills of the young people, by unfurling a co-created spider web of entertainment that we slow release as the guests arrive. The Irish and Polish young people will contribute key content throughout the evening that they have created during Youth Exchange workshops and activities in three categories: Film & Graphic Design Music & Song, Audio & Lighting Dance & Performance All activities will support the building of cross-community opportunities and inter-cultural relationships.
