The overarching reason for this project is that adolescence is a time of great change in a person’s life and one where the trajectory of the transition to adulthood can have long-term repercussions (Steinberg and Sheffield-Morris, 2001). Although potentially a time of great opportunity, for some young people it can also be a time when life chances narrow. Research shows that mobility opportunities for young people who would otherwise not have had the chance are life changing, and positively impact across a range of headings including, inclusion, employability, intercultural learning and personal development (Lerner et al 2009). 1. To complete the promotion of rural entrepreneurship in two specific locations in two different countries, which started in the first phase of this project, in Spain during April, 2023. 2. To build on the entrepreneurial and personal skills, qualities and knowledge developed by the participants in April 2023, that will help them become more competent when trying to formulate practical and sustainable ideas and potentially businesses connected to local entrepreneurship. 3. To enable participants to develop personal skills and qualities that will help them in all areas of their lives. 4. Lastly, in line with one of the priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme, namely, 'Inclusion and diversity,' is to ensure that young people from different ethnic, cultural and economic backgrounds come together to learn and develop as citizens of the European Union.
