The primary aim of the Fíorscéalta project was to empower cultural youth workers through training in devising theatre methodologies, enabling them to support young people in exploring and expressing their experiences, opinions, and concerns. By facilitating a space where creativity meets critical thinking, the project sought to enhance the skills of youth workers and, in turn, positively impact young people’s well-being. Specifically, the objectives were to: - Equip cultural youth workers with tools and techniques for using theatre to foster communication, collaboration, and emotional expression among young people. - Encourage intercultural dialogue and exchange of practices among participants from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. - Strengthen a transnational network of organisations dedicated to using theatre as a tool for social change, with a particular focus on youth empowerment. - Highlight the importance of inclusion by addressing the needs of participants with fewer opportunities and promoting accessible learning experiences.
