Our goal with YEPIC was to create an experience where young participants could develop entrepreneurial skills through practical and cooperative activities, based on non-formal education methodologies and experiential learning. The main objective of the project was to offer participants the opportunity to acquire essential skills for starting and managing a business. Considering the strong impact of artificial intelligence across various sectors—especially entrepreneurship—another key goal was to integrate AI tools into the workshops. We wanted participants to understand how these technologies can be applied to their initiatives, learn to use them effectively and responsibly, and be prepared to leverage them in their future projects. Beyond technical and entrepreneurial skills, we aimed to foster an innovative and proactive mindset among participants, encouraging them to view challenges as opportunities for growth. Through problem-solving activities and business simulations, the young people experienced real-life decision-making processes, developing the ability to adapt to constantly evolving scenarios. Another objective was to raise awareness among participants about the importance of social and sustainable entrepreneurship. We wanted to convey the idea that the success of a business should not be measured solely in economic terms, but also by its positive impact on the community and the environment. For this reason, the project dedicated specific time to reflecting on responsible business models and the potential to create initiatives that generate value not only for entrepreneurs, but for society as a whole. A crucial aspect of our project was also supporting the personal growth of young people. We aimed to help them build self-confidence, improve their communication skills, and learn to collaborate in multicultural settings. These skills are not only fundamental for their personal lives but also add great value to their entrepreneurial and social journeys. Finally, participating in this experience was a valuable opportunity for the young people to deepen their understanding of different cultures, develop a genuine respect for diversity, and form lasting bonds with peers from different national and cultural backgrounds.
