Why did we want to implement our project? The rapid development of technology in today's world is leading to major changes in our lives. One of these changes is the decrease in mobility between people, resulting in short distances being traveled by car even in daily life. The development of technology not only affects our lifestyles, but also negatively shapes our eating habits. Changes in eating habits and decreased physical activity are becoming one of the main factors that increase the risk of obesity. Studies show that the number of overweight and obese individuals has increased rapidly in recent years and that this problem has become more common especially among children and young people. One of the main causes of obesity is a sedentary lifestyle and unhealthy eating habits. However, obesity is not only caused by these two factors. Many factors such as genetics, environmental factors, lifestyle and psychological factors are among the causes of obesity. In addition, the hunger and satiety hormones in our body and the appetite center in the brain also play a role in the development of this disease. Therefore, obesity should be considered as a health problem rather than just a weight problem. For these reasons, obesity has become one of the most important health problems of the 21st century. According to the World Health Organization, there are 1.9 billion overweight and 650 million obese individuals worldwide. In addition, 41 million children under the age of 5 are overweight or obese. One out of every three people in the world is obese, with obesity rates of 40% among women and 20% among men. Obesity starts especially in the 30s and peaks between the ages of 45 and 65. While the obesity rate in urban areas is 23.8%, this rate is 19.6% in rural areas. Children are also negatively affected by obesity. According to studies, one in every four children is overweight or obese. Therefore, the rate of obesity among primary school students is 10% and the rate of being overweight is 15.7%. Based on all this information, it is important to raise awareness about combating obesity, which is one of the most important public health problems today. Our project aimed to raise important awareness to ensure that young people gain healthy living habits and fight against obesity. In this process, it is aimed to support not only the physical health of young people, but also their mental and cultural development. *Participants learned how obesity develops and how unhealthy lifestyles trigger this process. *Participants gained awareness about taking conscious steps to prevent the risk of obesity. *Participants understood the importance of regular exercise and an active lifestyle and were motivated to adopt healthy eating habits. *Participants became aware of the need to improve both their physical and mental health. *Participants learned the necessity of an active lifestyle in the fight against obesity and realized that they should gain a healthy lifestyle awareness by increasing the amount of daily movement. *Participants learned about the benefits of water on body health and became conscious about increasing the amount of water consumption. *Participants acquired the necessary knowledge to adopt balanced and healthy eating habits and started to apply this knowledge in their daily lives. *Participants expanded their understanding of health by engaging in activities that support not only their physical health but also their mental and cultural development. *Participants became aware of and sensitized to global health issues. *Participants adopted healthy living habits and started to take steps to integrate these habits into their daily lives. *Participants learned about the opportunities Erasmus Plus Programs provide for young people. *Participants became aware of the need to acquire green skills. *Participants improved their digital competences. *Participants have established intercultural communication and interaction and have been distanced from their prejudices. *Participants gained the ability to empathize.
