With this project we have helped young people to learn the values of participation and thus become active participants in their communities, the initiative "Young agents of change: youth participation and democracy" has in fact trained more than 40 young people in the development and administration of networks and working groups that include many stakeholders in different EU geographical areas. Such as Universities and Municipalities and entrepreneurs. The beneficiaries who were able to live this experience had the opportunity to improve their approach to community life in an analytical, creative, strategic, practical and operational way After the events, the young people who personally took part in the process acquired the necessary skills to facilitate collaborative work sessions, such as participatory planning, with different groups and networks of stakeholders in their respective areas of interest, in fact some of them are now discussing the development of new initiatives in public buildings that were in disuse. The main objective for all of us in the network was that the participants had the space to work together. The project also wanted to help young people share national and personal group experiences with each other to improve their collaboration and support for the growth of their local communities. Another important point of the project was to ensure above all: - Encourage gender equality. Therefore promote openness and contribution from all parties.; - Promote a relaxed atmosphere in which young people are empowered to contribute positively to their communities and to the success of policies that promote social inclusion and democratic participation.
