In all parts of the world, it is common to see that people are so accustomed to their habits that they assume that what is normal for them must be normal for others. However, that is rarely the case. This project started from that base, knowing about the existence of stereotypes that oversimplify how complex and diverse different cultures and societies are. Our main objective was to highlight and address them within the project. We seeked to bring together young people from all over Europe and even some with a background from outside our continent. Our objective was to introduce them to each other's culture, understanding that they are different from their own, all of it through their stomachs, and also other habits related to food. This approach was an emotional approach, something that required more than simply reading or a passive approach. We aimed to make the participants reflect on something they do every day: eating. We seeked for young people to feel closer to each other despite the distance, to absorb the value of Europe through their taste buds. We also had a secondary objective, which linked the main topic with global warming and the extensive concern of youth for sustainability. This proposal also aimed to make the participants reflect on the impact of different food activities in the fight against the climate crisis, and at the same time to motivate them and provide them with very basic tools so that, as active citizens, they could be part of the engine that changes society.
