Our project aimed to empower young individuals from rural areas in Armenia, Poland, Lithuania, and Georgia by fostering their engagement in social and environmental initiatives. Recognizing that youth in these regions often have limited access to community activities, we sought to create opportunities for active participation and personal development. The primary objectives of the project were: Encouraging youth engagement: Motivating young people to take an active role in their communities, equipping them with the confidence and skills needed to contribute meaningfully. Promoting sustainable practices: Identifying and developing eco-friendly solutions to address specific environmental issues in Armenian villages, with a focus on waste management and responsible resource use. Enhancing inclusivity: Ensuring that young individuals from remote and underserved areas could participate in the initiative, fostering a sense of belonging and social responsibility. To achieve these goals, we employed a non-formal educational approach, emphasizing experiential learning and collaborative problem-solving. Through interactive discussions, fieldwork, and direct engagement with local residents, participants gained practical insights and co-created strategies for sustainable development. The flexible and adaptive nature of our activities allowed us to adjust based on feedback, ensuring an effective and meaningful exchange experience.
