The main goal of the project was to empower young people to actively participate in the labour market and public life by providing them with knowledge about career opportunities, professions, rights, and personal development. The project aimed to: increase young people’s awareness of different professions and develop their career planning competences; foster motivation for learning and self-development; strengthen cooperation and solidarity between young people from Rietavas and Šilalė municipalities; enhance inter-institutional cooperation in addressing youth employment challenges; develop young people’s digital and critical thinking skills to make them more resilient to misinformation and more engaged in democratic participation; raise awareness of common European values such as human dignity, equality, freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law. The project targeted young people aged 13–19, especially those with fewer opportunities or lower motivation to participate in youth activities. Through its implementation, the project sought to help young people better understand themselves, explore career paths, strengthen their social and civic competences, and become active members of their communities.
