This project aims to encourage active and conscious participation of young people in public policy at the national level, namely in 2024 Praliamentary elections. Volunteers will participate in trainings and organize live and virtual debates between young people and politicians in Seimas elections. The watchdogging platform, formed nearly ten years ago, has already discovered ways and means that work to engage young people. However, in the smaller cities of Lithuania there is a particularly constant change of participants, some young people leave for other cities after finishing school, therefore, in order to maintain the activity of young people in various parts of Lithuania, it is necessary to constantly coordinate activities, motivate participants and develop skills, and share experiences. The upcoming elections, during which 71 single-mandate candidates from various regions of Lithuania are elected to Seimas, are a great opportunity to gather young people all across Lithuanian cities and towns and encourage discussions in the regions.
