Objectives

The "Digital Innovation in Youth Work" training course was implemented by four European partners: L’Ecole des Valeurs (LU), Școala de Valori (RO), Aktive Kosmos (SP), and ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE BUBBURRIGA (IT), with a focus on 25 youth workers. The project aimed to equip youth workers with the skills to adapt to digital tools, an essential shift given recent global challenges. The course emphasized the importance of integrating digital tools like Instagram, TikTok, Kahoot, and Zoom into youth development to foster resilience and innovation. Over 10 months, the project helped participants improve their digital proficiency, incorporating tools into their daily youth work practices. The training covered tools like Canva, Mentimeter, Trello, and Zoom, improving efficiency and enabling youth workers to plan and collaborate digitally. It also enhanced their ability to engage with youth, both locally and globally, through innovative virtual activities. By the end of the course, youth workers gained confidence in using digital tools, promoting creativity, teamwork, and effective communication in online settings. They developed critical skills in managing digital challenges, time management, and leadership, while also strengthening their understanding of ethical guidelines in digital youth work. The project empowered participants to create impactful educational materials and improve their professional approach to digital youth work.
