The main goal of the “Re Create” project was to empower young people to become active participants in building a sustainable and environmentally conscious society. By using non-formal education methods, artistic expression, and intercultural collaboration, we aimed to inspire youth to take meaningful action in their communities and across Europe. Objectives of the project: Promote environmental awareness through creative and youth-led activities that highlight sustainability and the importance of protecting the global ecosystem. Encourage civic engagement by supporting young people to take initiative and participate in decision-making processes related to environmental issues. Develop key competencies such as digital literacy, communication, creativity, and teamwork using the Youthpass framework. Foster intercultural dialogue and European cooperation by bringing together youth from Latvia, Greece, Spain, and Serbia to learn from each other and build solidarity. Create reusable educational and artistic materials that can be shared with local communities, schools, and youth centers to inspire ongoing environmental action. The project aimed to turn young people’s ideas into practical, community-focused outcomes, ensuring that sustainability becomes not only a goal, but also a lived daily practice.
