Objectives

With the implementation of this project, our goal was to address environmental eco-anxiety and the challenges young people faced due to the climate crisis. We aimed to foster a holistic approach to well-being that included physical health, mental resilience, and environmental awareness. In the face of rapid technological advancement and globalization, our youth struggled with digital overload, academic pressures, and health issues exacerbated by global events. Our project sought to offer a positive intervention by promoting a healthier lifestyle and helping young individuals develop skills in self-care, addressing both physical and mental well-being. By implementing this project, our aim was also to integrate with the Erasmus+ program’s youth dimension to enhance key competences and skills among young people, particularly those facing greater challenges in accessing opportunities. Our broader objectives included fostering cultural awareness, promoting the European Green Deal, and propagating European values and unity. In conclusion, the key objectives of our project were: 1. Promote Holistic Well-being: Enhance awareness among youth about all aspects of well-being—mental, physical, emotional, and digital health—by providing comprehensive education and practical strategies for balanced living. 2. Empower Youth through Digital Tools: Equip participants with tools and skills to effectively manage and overcome challenging situations, thereby building their resilience and self-efficacy. Additionally, utilize digital tools to create learning opportunities that enable participants to build international networks, actively engage in society, and develop a strong sense of European citizenship and identity. 3. Create Community Impact: Extend the benefits to local communities and partner organizations, fostering a ripple effect of positive change by encouraging active participation and community involvement. 4. Environmental Connection: Educate participants on the interconnectedness of personal health and environmental health by highlighting practical actions they can take to support both their well-being and the planet. Incorporate the European Green Deal into our activities to motivate participants to champion sustainability and engage in meaningful actions to protect the environment. 5. Enhance Cultural Awareness: Bring together a diverse group of young participants from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds to build bridges and break down barriers through a shared common language, English. 6. Foster Personal and Social Development: Encourage participants to contribute to their own learning and personal growth while enriching the development of others, creating a dynamic space for exchanging ideas and perspectives.
