The EnviroVision: A Better Vision for a Better Tomorrow project was successfully implemented from July 15 to July 22, 2024, in Kočani, North Macedonia. The project created a dynamic space for learning, collaboration, and action on environmental sustainability by bringing together 30 young participants and group leaders from Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Czechia, Lithuania, and North Macedonia. Through engaging activities and*non-formal education methods, we managed to: - Raise Environmental Awareness: Participants explored pressing environmental issues, deepened their understanding of sustainability, and gained practical knowledge on how to contribute to a greener future. - Develop Key Competencies: The project helped young people build essential skills, knowledge, and attitudes related to environmental responsibility and active citizenship. - Foster Cross-Cultural Exchange: Participants strengthened their sense of European identity and collaboration in tackling environmental challenges by working together across cultures. - Empower Youth Leadership: Many participants took on leadership roles, built confidence, and returned home as motivated advocates for sustainability in their communities. - Create a Lasting Impact: The project didn’t end with the exchange. Participants carried forward their knowledge and inspiration, spreading awareness and initiating environmental actions in their local contexts. - Promote Erasmus+ and Youthpass: Participants gained a deeper understanding of the Erasmus+ program and the value of Youthpass certification, encouraging more young people in their communities to engage in similar opportunities. - Highlight the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the European Green Deal: Participants became more aware of global and European sustainability efforts and their role in achieving them through discussions and activities. - Show the beauty of Macedonia, the great nature of the Osogovo mountains, Macedonian culture, and hospitality. - Break the stereotypes and work in intercultural environments and learn more about different cultures. By the end of EnviroVision, the young participants had gained new skills, strengthened connections, and a renewed commitment to improving the environment. This proved that youth-led action can drive meaningful change toward a more sustainable future.
