The project aimed to promote social inclusion, intercultural learning, and active participation of young people, with a specific focus on individuals with intellectual disabilities and disadvantaged backgrounds. By implementing this project, we wanted to create an inclusive environment where participants could develop essential life skills, communication abilities, and teamwork experience while raising awareness about disability rights and accessibility. The main objectives of the project were to: - enhance the social inclusion of young people with intellectual disabilities by providing them with equal opportunities to participate in mobility programs - develop key competences such as communication, leadership, problem-solving, and intercultural understanding through non-formal education methods - foster empathy and awareness among non-disabled participants by promoting interaction, collaboration, and mutual support with individuals with disabilities - encourage active citizenship and inspire participants to become advocates for inclusion, social change, and youth engagement in their local communities - strengthen cooperation among European youth organizations working in the fields of social inclusion, disability rights, and non-formal education, fostering sustainable partnerships for future projects By achieving these objectives, the project contributed to creating a more inclusive and diverse society, empowering participants to take an active role in promoting accessibility, equality, and intercultural dialogue at local, national, and European levels.
