This lastied 3 months, focused on the knowledge of key words that allow people with a significant cognitive disability to be able to make small requests in another language in order to strengthen their self-esteem. Their memorization capacity is minimal, so frequent and repeated lessons in an interactive way were done. Therefore, not written but oral and with real examples of foods and examples of meetings helped them overcome the fear of making mistakes. Let's also remember that we are talking about people with different levels of disability, so working in a group allowed mutual help with terms that are difficult for many of them to pronounce. (like breakfast, which is simple for many). This was done by Dott.ssa Serra Consuelo. The Italian participants had intellectual and relational disabilities . The objective was to the strengthening of self-esteem Self-efficacy Autonomy . Preparation took 3 months before the trip with weekly meetings where they were given the opportunity to work through role-playing activities, watching videos of the places and activities that would take place on site. Space was also given for the participants to express their feelings and emotions. All this served to give them tools to face with serenity the challenges. Strengthening their perception and self-confidence it allowed them to prepare psychologically to travel alone, live in a tent, manage time, for self-care, manage time, collaborate and unite the group. It also allowed them to experience resilience and the spirit of adaptation Accessible Facilities: Disabled toilets were hired, and all activities were designed to be accessible and inclusive.
