This project idea was proposed by several young volunteers from the applicant organization. They observed that their peers, who tended to spend more time playing games or watching TV series online or on TV, were less active, rarely went to the gym, and showed little interest in spending their free time engaging in sports. Motivated by this observation, they decided to create an initiative aimed at using digital tools to boost motivation for sports and healthy living among young people. The main aim of the youth exchange, “EuroTechActive: Digital Motivation for Youth,” was: To harness the potential of digital tools to promote physical activity, sports, and healthy living among European youth. The specific goals of the project were: To educate and empower young people to adopt healthy lifestyle habits through digital tools and platforms; To drive a cultural shift among European youth by encouraging the integration of sports and physical activities into daily routines; To raise awareness of the Erasmus+ program for European youth through informative sessions; To encourage young people to become ambassadors of digital health within their communities; To contribute to the creation of a healthier generation within the European Union and beyond.
