The starting point of initiating our project was the recent world issues disproportionately affecting vulnerable populations, particularly young people, who face risks in areas such as education, employment, and mental health. In response, the "Fostering Resilience in Youth Work Through Podcasting" (FOREST) project was initiated to equip youth workers with resilience tools, including podcasting techniques, to support young people in becoming more resilient during crises. Our project successfully enhanced the knowledge and skills of youth workers in podcast content creation and techniques, improved their competencies in applying modern resilience methods, and promoted the development of podcasting as a tool in youth work for recovery. It also resulted in the creation of an open-public pilot podcast series consisting of digital audio files focused on resilience: - https://activeyoutharnhem.podbean.com By developing digital skills in podcasting, the project enabled our partner organizations to adapt to the evolving needs of young people and contributed significantly to strengthening their resilience in the face of crises and used for further purposes in specific target groups.
