“We Build the New” aims to empower youth to actively participate in the regenerative agriculture movement. Our objectives were to connect, engage, and educate youth in regenerative agriculture through activities designed as unconferences, ensuring their central role in decision-making. Provide tools and knowledge to empower youth to educate each other, promoting awareness about climate justice, land ownership, and regenerative land practices. Foster connections with existing organisations and initiatives to accelerate Europe's transition to regenerative agriculture. Set an example for Europe by demonstrating how regenerative agriculture can combat climate change, restore ecosystems, ensure food equity, and empower communities. Inspire participants and their networks to join the Grounded Community and the 7 Billion Presidents movement, building regenerative communities on common land and collaborating to serve local communities. Have the participants realise the power of collectiveness, solidarity and collaboration by embracing the visions of the Grounded and the 7 Billion Presidents movement, that building an inclusive society where everyone has a sense of belonging is possible but only if we all work together. Consequently, we aim to improve the well-being of all people and living species on Earth.
