By implementing this project, we aimed to support young people in recognising and developing key soft skills that are essential for their personal, educational, and professional growth. The main objective was to increase participants’ awareness of their existing competences and provide them with practical opportunities to strengthen skills such as communication, time management, teamwork, and problem-solving. We also aimed to introduce an innovative, non-formal learning approach based on edutainment and gamification in order to make the learning process more engaging, interactive, and accessible. Through experience-based activities, participants were encouraged to learn by doing, reflect on their actions, and improve their competences in a safe learning environment. Ulti
We applied for this project to respond to the growing need for young people to develop essential soft skills that are often not sufficiently addressed in formal education. Many young people experience difficulties in areas such as time management, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, which are crucial for their personal development, employability, and active participation in society. The project addressed the lack of engaging and accessible training methods for soft skills development by introducing an innovative, experience-based learning approach. Traditional training methods are often perceived as theoretical and not motivating enough for young people. Therefore, there was a need for more interactive and learner-centred tools. By using edutainment and gamification elements, the project enabled participants to identify their existing competences and strengthen them through targeted, non-formal and experiential learning activities.
