With this project, we wanted to create a meaningful experience for young people, equipping them with tools to take care of their mental and physical well-being. The idea was not just to talk about mental health but to show practical ways to improve it through outdoor activities, creative expression, and social connections. We aimed to help participants recognize the impact of stress, social media, and global uncertainties (such as war, climate change and economic instability) on their mental health while providing them with skills to manage these challenges. Another key goal was to break the stigma surrounding mental health by fostering open discussions and creating a supportive, understanding community. In addition to personal growth, the project had a strong intercultural dimension. By bringing together young people from different countries (Norway, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova), we wanted them to see how mental health is approached in different cultures, exchange experiences, and build friendships across borders. Objectives of the project were: Equip youth with practical life skills. Teach stress management, emotional regulation, and communication techniques; Raise awareness about mental and physical health. Help participants understand the connection between the two and how small daily habits can make a big difference; Promote outdoor activities and creative expression. Show that nature, movement, and artistic activities are powerful tools for mental well-being; Encourage peer support and open conversations. Create a safe space where participants feel comfortable discussing their emotions and experiences; Foster cultural understanding. Allow young people from different backgrounds to learn from each other and gain new perspectives on well-being. At it`s core, this project was about empowerment. We didn’t want young people to leave with just knowledge, we wanted them to feel more confident, more connected, and more capable of taking care of their mental health in everyday life.
