Objectives

The primary aim of the project was to empower youth workers and organisational representatives with the skills, tools, and knowledge needed to foster meaningful participation and enhance the capacity of youth organisations. Specifically, the project sought to achieve the following objectives: - Enhanced Skills and Competencies: Equip youth workers with advanced skills and competencies in organisational development and cooperation, ensuring they can effectively contribute to the growth and sustainability of their organisations. - Improved Youth Participation: Foster active involvement of young people in decision-making processes, ensuring their voices are heard, their contributions valued, and their needs addressed. - Effective Communication: Enhance communication skills among youth workers to promote better engagement with young people, peers, and stakeholders. - Conflict Management and Mediation: Provide youth workers with techniques for conflict resolution and mediation, equipping them to address challenges within youth groups constructively. - Innovative Approaches: Introduce creative and modern methodologies to organisational practices, keeping them engaging and relevant for today's youth. - Documentation and Resources: Develop an infographic and establish common rules for general assemblies, ensuring consistent practices and fostering excellence in cooperation between EUDY and its member organisations. To achieve these objectives, we implemented a series of activities, including lectures on organisational development and cooperation, as well as group work sessions aimed at identifying obstacles and achievements. These sessions encouraged critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving among participants.
