Objectives

The project helped us create opportunities to develop key skills needed in the labor market and raise awareness of professional activity. Through participation in the project, we gained experience and knowledge that will help us effectively position ourselves in the labor market. During the project, we found answers to the following questions: What difficulties do we encounter in finding a job? What skills are we lacking to find the right job for us? What are the current labor market requirements? How should we create a CV and prepare for job interviews? How should we seek information on opportunities to gain professional experience? Through participation in the project, we improved our job-seeking skills, understood the needs of the labor market, created our CVs, and by adapting them to today's high standards in this area, we prepared for the recruitment processes we will participate in in the future. We developed skills that increase our employability, improved our professional skills, increased our ability to compete in the labor market, and discovered opportunities to acquire practical skills that strengthen our position in the labor market. During the youth exchange, we achieved the following specific goals: we improved our knowledge of the labor market and employer needs, developed skills, attitudes, and knowledge that increase our chances of finding the right job for us, created an environment conducive to increasing professional activity and preparing us for job applications, and became familiar with the institution of volunteering as a tool for gaining professional experience. We successfully implemented the project in line with the European Commission's "Europe 2020" strategy for a 21st-century social market economy. The added value of participating in the project was the use of extra-curricular and informal education, which allowed us to acquire practical skills and knowledge (not just theoretical). Through participation in the project, we were able to identify our individual needs related to our future careers, analyze employer expectations, and adapt our CVs to the specific requirements of the labor market. We also participated in job interview simulations, which helped us improve our skills in conducting successful self-presentations. An important element of the project was the focus on gaining first professional experience, with particular emphasis on the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme.
