The project was a continuation of the project "From Polish to Portuguese Land", which was a grassroots initiative of HP youth from Piotrków Trybunalski and youth from Portugal. This time, young people from Poland went to Portugal to learn about the culture and traditions of the region and get to know local cuisine by participating in culinary meetings. The main goal of the project was to raise the level of key competences and skills of young people, including those with fewer opportunities, as well as to promote intercultural dialogue and recognition of non-formal and informal learning. The aim of the project was cultural exchange, learning about the traditions and values of the Partner's region and developing interdisciplinary competences such as communication skills in foreign languages. The goal was for young people to acquire new professional skills through culinary meetings and joint cooking. Learning about the region enriched the youth with knowledge about monuments, culture and traditions. As part of introducing them to culture, six-day culinary meetings based on regional cuisine were organized - joint cooking. The workshops ended with a joint dinner and the creation of a culinary book and a multimedia presentation.
