Objectives

The "My job, my future" project was created to meet the needs of young people in the areas of skills and knowledge related to getting a job, learning about their professional predispositions and starting a business. Many project participants, despite being close to adulthood, are still very uncertain when it comes to choosing a career path. Information in the media about major changes in labor markets in the near future related to automation and the disappearance of some professions and the emergence of new professions, intensify this feeling of lack of stable prospects. Many analytical studies point to deficits related to formal education providing knowledge and skills in areas related to career counseling and practical competences useful in the process of applying for employment (searching for job offers, writing a CV and cover letter, job interviews). Objectives of the "My job, my future" project: - preparing young people to take active actions related to functioning on the labor market. - learning methods to get a job. - learning the procedures for starting a business. - getting to know your strengths and weaknesses in the context of professional development. - promoting economic activity among young people. - learning methods for examining professional predispositions. - increasing the activity of young people. - gaining knowledge about subsidies for young people starting a business. - counteracting escape into stagnation as a choice of unemployed youth. - shaping attitudes of solidarity with young people in difficult life situations. - getting acquainted with the professional mobility opportunities provided by the EU program. - making local decision-makers in Koszeg, Siret, Konya and Chojna aware of the problems of young people. - developing European identity.
