Through the implementation of the project, we aimed to achieve several key objectives addressing challenges related to environmental protection, climate change, and the need to raise ecological awareness among both young people and local communities. The project focused on education, inspiring pro-environmental actions, and shaping attitudes of responsibility towards the natural environment. Project Objectives: 1. Raising ecological awareness among young people - We aimed to enhance participants' knowledge about climate change, the impact of human activities on the environment, and the necessity of taking action to protect nature. 2. Promoting nature conservation and ecological volunteering - The project sought to encourage young people to engage in volunteer activities and adopt pro-environmental habits in their daily lives. 3. Educating local communities - We strived to raise ecological awareness among the residents of Poronin and other communities from which the participants came, promoting responsible environmental practices and supporting local initiatives for ecology. 4. Creating practical educational tools - The development of educational lesson plans and the creation of a film on ecological topics aimed to provide communities with materials for further education on environmental protection and the promotion of eco-friendly activities. 5. Inspiring environmental action - The project aimed to inspire participants to undertake pro-environmental initiatives in their local surroundings and motivate them to further engage in activities related to nature conservation. 6. Gaining practical experience through volunteering - Organizing volunteer work in the Tatra National Park was intended to demonstrate practical ways of protecting nature, enabling participants to actively engage in environmental initiatives. Our primary goal was to enhance the ecological awareness and engagement of young people and local communities in the field of environmental protection. The project served as the starting point for participants' long-term involvement in ecological activities, inspiring them to take grassroots initiatives and contribute to positive changes for a better future for the natural environment. All project objectives were successfully achieved.
