Through the implementation of the project, we wanted to meet the expectations of participants who had clearly specified their expectations at the stage of submitting the application for funding. All participants were united by interests in the broad sense of ecology and all wanted to deepen or systematize their knowledge. The main areas of interest were: sustainable development - theory in contrast to practices used in reality in partner countries, recycling methods depending on the material and comparison of these methods in partner countries, artistic upcycling, i.e. creating original objects for works of art, installations, collages and others, using non-toxic waste, developing educational methods to raise awareness of the impact of humans on environmental degradation on a local and global scale, as well as methods for developing pro-ecological habits, promoting such behaviors and popularizing them in local environments. The aim of the project was also to learn about the culture and customs of partner countries and to seek inspiration in multiculturalism, to develop attitudes of tolerance and empathy in the case of contact with people with special needs, coming from poorer environments or living on the outskirts of civilization, without access to formal education, cultural and scientific centers. The aims were also: to observe reality in a social and political context and to acquire the ability to draw conclusions, analyze them and the ability to discuss and defend one's own arguments.
