Objectives

The idea of the project was born out of the need for continuous development and the desire to improve the quality of activities carried out by our organization. The impetus for its creation was the exchange of experiences that took place in August 2023, during the implementation of an international project on the effective use of digital tools in the promotion of NGOs. At that time, our team had the opportunity to cooperate and dialogue with representatives of organizations from Italy and Spain. In the course of joint trainings and workshops, many important topics related to the functioning of the organization were discussed, such as efficiency of operations, resource management, risk analysis and implementation of modern technological solutions. This intensive exchange of experiences showed how much we can learn from each other and how diverse perspectives enrich our view of daily work with young people. The cooperation established at that time did not end with the project - we regularly continue our contacts in the form of video conferences, maintaining an open dialogue and sharing best practices. Inspired by this experience, we decided to create a project that will enable us to further our education, acquire new competencies and expand our knowledge in modern methods of education and project management. We wanted to put special emphasis on the development of digital competencies, which - in the age of increasing digitization - are an indispensable element of effective outreach to young people, both in Poland and abroad. Together with our partners - organizations from Italy and Spain - we saw the need for a fresh perspective on our activities. The Italian partners, despite their rich experience, noticed that they had fallen into a routine and needed new energy. The Spanish organization, on the other hand, wants to expand its competence in planning projects using digital tools. The goal of the project was to train our foundation's staff and volunteers in modern educational methods, such as gamification, peer teaching, learning by doing, and the use of digital tools in education. We also wanted to create a space for discussion on optimizing project processes, improving team communication, risk management, and to develop ready-made workshop and tutorial schemes for use in our daily work. The project also had an integrative dimension - we are keen to build community within the organization and with foreign partners. Through joint activities, seminars and presentations, we shared knowledge and experience, promoting the idea of lifelong learning. Our ambition was to reach a wider audience of young people in Poland and Europe, especially those who, for various reasons, have difficult access to education and development opportunities. Thanks to this project, we not only raised the quality of our activities, but also contributed to building a more open, active and competent civil society.
