Objectives

With this project, we addressed the problem identified in our six organizations: Poland: Young Wave Romania: ASK Yourself Hungary: 21 Days Italy: Youth Connect Greece: United Society of Balkans Spain: Almenaras The common problem we found was that new youth workers did not have the skills to lead non-formal education workshops. To solve this problem and improve the situation, we set a goal and specific objectives: Aim: We aimed to empower new youth workers by giving them the basic knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to start and lead non-formal education workshops. This included teaching them every step of facilitation, from designing learning activities to evaluating their results, so they could become skilled facilitators. Objectives: Knowledge: Within the 10-month timeframe of the project, 24 emerging youth workers deepened their understanding of designing and executing learning opportunities. Skills: Throughout the project, the 24 participants improved their facilitation skills (design, implementation, debriefing, reflection), enabling them to conduct workshops that are responsive to group needs, engagement levels and challenges. Attitude: By the end of the project, participants have gained confidence in their roles as facilitators, encouraging them to offer more initiatives and contribute actively to creating inclusive the learning environment locally and internationally. Understanding Erasmus+ Programme: 24 less-experienced youth workers got empowered to create facilitation opportunities, especially under Erasmus+ programme, and got familiar with priorities and the steps of creating a project.
